Response to COVID-19


As the official Public Health Emergency (PHE) came to an end on May 11th 2023, it impacted how tele-health is treated by some insurance companies. Beginning Oct 1, 2025 Medicare changed its requirements around tele-health. An in-person visit will be required within 6 months of beginning services and annually after that. Often Medicare rules influcence other insurers. This is still evolving and we are doing our best to stay on top of it, but if you are utilizing tele-health, we advise you to ask your insurer about coverage or reimbursement.
