It takes a brave person to seek help. My goal is to help clients find healing and peace through fostering resilience and providing the opportunity and skills for change. One of the great honors of my life is to walk with clients through their journey of change. My clinical interests range from individuals, to couples, to families.

I received my Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from The University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2002, along with a post-graduate certification in Medical Family Therapy. I worked for nine years at The Emily Program doing individual and family therapy as well as developing and leading various groups with a focus on clients with eating disorders in both outpatient and residential settings. In 2012 I transitioned to the role of Clinic Director at The Woodbury location of Nystrom and associates. During my time at Nystrom, I worked with a wide variety of adults and adolescents who struggled with anxiety and depression, relationships issues, eating disorders, body image issues, spiritual issues, parenting, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, anger issues, self-harm, stress management, sexual identity, blended families, and family communication, and trauma. I have been trained in Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, interpersonal therapy, and solution-focused therapy. For the past several years I have had the opportunity to see clients in a lovely space in Highland Park, and I look forward to walking alongside clients in that space for many years to come. I currently am primarily seeing clients virtually.
